Our sheep spend their lives living on our hills in Northern Cumbria. This produces high-quality meat full of flavour, as the sheep forage the different grasses available.

All our lamb, shearling and mutton is certified Pasture for Life, meaning they are reared as nature intended - grain free - healthy and happy.

Each box will vary slightly in its contents, but as an example a £60 Mutton box might include:

1kg Leg Joint

500g Diced Shoulder

500g Chump Chops

500g Mutton Mince

2 Mutton Shanks

500g Loin Chops

If you have any specific requirements please let us know in the space provided.

Really tasty quality meat

I can’t buy mutton locally so was so pleased to buy it from Askerton because I know the care and quality.

My address proved challenging with the carriers and I can’t believe how much effort was taken to deliver my meat to me, it really was above and beyond…thank you

Good selection

Really good selection of different cuts.

Well packed.

The diced mutton made a very good casserole, no need to trim.
